We regularly see pictures of wonderful Easter mornings. I am posting this evening, four lovely pics of an Easter evening in Stansbury Park, Utah. They were taken just a few minutes before
eight o'clock. A few minutes later the sky got more fiery, but I am well pleased with the peacefulness of pastels this evening. I feel that it is in harmony with the holiday. It has been a good holiday.
After church today we had dinner with the Diane and Steve Young family. They are Clarine's daughter and husband, and they are in our stake but live in Lake Point.
Tuesday I go to the eye doctor for the pre-op indoctrination for my cataract surgery - the first of which is on 9 April. If all goes as planned the other eye will be done on 23 April. Yesterday I received the results from my visit to my internist, Dr. Lewis. He thought I was a good specimen for being 80 years old. The results I received were for blood lab work: Blood sugar - normal; PSA - normal; thyroid seeking hormone - normal. That was all good news. Too bad that at 80 years I don't have the vim, vigor and pep of a 20 year old. If I felt like I did at seventy that would even be spectacular.
Most of you know that Justin, Ashley and their twin sons will spend 10 weeks here from May to late July while Justin does his law internship in Salt Lake City. They will have one more year of law school at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. after the internship is over. The boys will have just turned one year of age while they are here. Diane and Evelyn will come for their summer visit after their schools recess for the summer. Clarine's brother and family are coming for this weekend. Sam is bringing Caleb down from The Seattle area tomorrow. Sam will stay here. Caleb will be at some sort of Youth Seminar at Aspen Grove in Provo Canyon. They will return home on Saturday. It probably will not get very dull or boring in the next little while at our household. gwh
