Bear Lake Timeshare

A week ago Saturday we drove to Bear Lake after our temple shift was over. We stayed in a timeshare until Friday, then we came home to do our temple shift yesterday, Saturday. On Monday, Deanna and Dan Allred joined us and stayed until Friday also. We ate, visited, laughed, watched old videos and shot slingshots. I had a mean cough which hampered my style quite a lot. (I am somewhat improved, but I am still struggling.) Monday before Allreds arrived, Clarine and I drove to the Oxford cemetery and put some mums on various graves. We saw Dee and Nellie Boyce at the cemetery. The movies we saw were a couple of Doris Day oldies and the "Blind Side" which I liked quite a lot. I apparently over did the eating thing as I gained three pounds. Since I have finished my knee therapy, I am getting around without support, but not very fast. At the lake we are seeing many new goslings and ducklings. Diane arrived here for her summer vacation on Friday evening. She has lots of advice for her father, nevertheless it is good to have her here for the summer. Evelyn is going to arrive on 23 June. While we were at the temple yesterday, Phillip came and installed some leaf guards in the rain gutters above the garage. Diane says she is going to mow the lawn tomorrow while we are in the temple. I am happy for the help. gwh
